Pome’e, Vadrawale Named To Polynesian Player Of The Year Watch List

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State's Tevita Pome'e and Sailasa Vadrawale III were named to the Watch List for the 2025 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award.
The award honors the most outstanding college football player of Polynesian ancestry who exemplifies exceptional ability and integrity both on and off the field. This year's list features 81 players from 40 different NCAA Division I programs.
Finalists for the 2025 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award will be unveiled on December 9, and the winner will be announced on December 16. The presentation of the Award will be held during the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Celebration Dinner (January 17, 2026), and they will also be recognized during the Polynesian Bowl (January 16, 2026).
Pome'e, a redshirt sophomore defensive lineman from Hofoa, Tonga, played in 11 games last season and totaled 15 tackles with half a tackle for loss and four quarterback hurries. He finished with a season-high four tackles against Air Force and added three tackles against Colorado State and Oregon.
Vadrawale, a redshirt sophomore from Rohnert Park, Calif., played in all 12 games last season in the defensive backfield in his first year at Oregon State after transferring from the University of California. He tallied 30 tackles with one tackle for loss, had an interception with a 24-yard return against San Jose State, and added four pass breakups.
