Nelson Keljo Selected In Sixth Round Of MLB Draft By Cleveland

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State left-handed pitcher Nelson Keljo has been selected in the sixth round, 192nd overall by the Cleveland Guardians in the Major League Baseball Draft on Monday.
Keljo completed his third season with the Beavers in 2025, posting a 3-2 record and 4.01 earned run average in 17 games, 11 of which were starts. He struck out 63 in 58 1/3 innings whole holding opponents to a .213 batting average.
Opponents have hit .237 against him in his collegiate career, which has included 60 appearances and 15 starts. He is 8-2 with a 4.24 ERA, totaling 155 strikeouts in 123 innings.
He is the 10th Beaver selected by Cleveland all-time, and the first since Travis Bazzana went first overall in 2024.
