Kyra Ly Continues Strong Play At Silverado Showdown
April 08, 2025 | Women's Golf
NAPA, Calif. – Kyra Ly continued her strong play this spring to lead the Oregon State women's golf team in the second round of the Silverado Showdown on Tuesday.
Ly, a junior from Portland, had two birdies, a bogey and a double on the front nine and followed that with a clean card on the back to post a 1-over 73 and is tied for 11th place with an even-par 71-73—144. Eleven of her 14 rounds this spring have been 73 and better, helping her already post two Top 10 finishes.
She has a chance to record another Top 10 finish with a solid round on Wednesday, which would give her four this season and seven in her three-year Oregon State career.
As a team, the Beavers are in 12th place with a 29-over 297-308—605 at the par-72, 6,207-yard Silverado Resort South Course.
The final round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday and live scoring is available at this link.
Raya Nakao opened the tournament with an even-par 72 but was unable to record any birdies in the second round, falling into a tie for 37th place with a 6-over 72-78—150.
