Beavers Headed to Chapel Hill for NCAA Tournament
March 16, 2025 | Women's Basketball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State will return to the NCAA Tournament after being selected as a no. 14 seed in the Birmingham 2 region by the selection committee on Sunday.
The Beavers will square off with no. 3 seed North Carolina on Saturday to open the tournament. If they win, the Beavs will battle the winner of sixth-seeded West Virginia and either Columbia or Washington. Every game of the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.
Oregon State will play in the Big Dance for the second straight year after advancing to the Elite 8 last season. The Beavs earned their spot by defeating top-seeded Gonzaga and second-seeded Portland in the WCC Tournament to win the league's automatic bid.
This will be OSU's 14th NCAA Tournament appearance and ninth under Scott Rueck. The Beavers are undefeated in first-round games under the 15th year head coach.
Information on ticket sales, broadcasts and game times will be released as soon as it is available. Fans should keep their eye on osubeavers.com as well as @beaverwbb on social media for that information.
