Villa Earns Player of the Week Honors

SAN FRANCISCO – Jenna Villa was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

The junior guard earned her second-ever weekly honor after leading the Beavers with 24 points in a 74-65 victory over San Francisco. She was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week in December 2023.

In addition to her scoring, Villa added six rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block. She scored in double figures for the third straight game and 10th time in the last 11 games. The junior is averaging 16.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game over those 11 contests.

Villa is Oregon State's second conference player of the week this season, joining Tiara Bolden who earned the award after the Beavers beat Illinois.

The Beavers continue their league-opening road trip on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Saint Mary's.
