Baseball Welcomes 15 To Signing Class

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Fifteen players have signed with the Oregon State baseball team to join the program for the 2027 season, Mitch Canham announced on Tuesday.
The class includes three players from the state of Oregon and four from the Pacific Northwest. Four, meanwhile, hail from the state of California and 11 of the 15 signees will join the program from the high school level.
"We are excited to announce the 2026 recruiting class filled with competitors, elite skill sets, and high character all the way through," said Canham, the Pat Casey Head Baseball Coach at Oregon State. "This is a group that values culture on and off the field, but also bring the grit and desire to win. We are filled with joy knowing we are recruiting players that are good enough to play anywhere in the country, yet see how special this place is and chose Oregon State to be their home."
Here's at look at the 15 signees.
Kael Barney, INF, OF (Nolensville, Tenn.) – A First-Team All-District selection during his career at Nolensville High School.
Kyson Barney, INF (Nolensville, Tenn.) – Like his brother, Kael, has earned All-District honors during his tenure at Nolensville High School.
Blake Bowen, OF (San Clemente, Calif.) – First-Team All-League selection all three years at JSerra Catholic High School. Named the MVP of the Under Armour All-American Game.
Everett Burdett, RHP (Albuquerque, N.M.) – A First-Team All-District selecton at La Cueva High School. Was 5-0 as a junior, and 4-1 as a sophomore.
Neal Burtis, LHP, OF (Maple Valley, Wash.) – All-League on the mound as both a sophomoee and a junior. He finished with a 2.10 earned run average as a junior, striking out 47 in 30 innings.
Luke Duncan, RHP (San Ramon, Calif.) – A sophomore at San Joaquin Delta College, he posted a 3.24 ERA as a freshman. Was a Second-Team All-League selection at catcher while playing at Dougherty Valley High School.
Dyson Grant, C, INF (Mission Viejo, Calif.) – Grant is currently a junior at Capsitrano Valley High School and is reclassifying to the 2026 class.
Grayson Riding, RHP (West Jordan, Utah) – The righty is a freshman at College of Southern Idaho. He was an All-State selection at Mountain Ridge High School, and posted a 3-3 record and 2.20 ERA his senior season. Went 3-0 as a sophomore.
Julian Sabourin, RHP (Ancaster, Ontario, Canada) – The righty will come to Corvallis after striking out 51 in 40 innings his junior season. He posted a 2.80 ERA with a 1.12 WHIP.
Grady Saunders, RHP/UT (Springfield, Ore.) – Saunders is rated as the No. 1 prospect in the Pacific Northwest per Baseball Northwest. He's been an All-State selection all three years of his career at Thurston High School.
Teagan Scott, C (Salem, Ore.) – Scott is considered the No. 3 prospect in the Pacific Northwest – and No. 2 in Oregon – by Baseball Northwest. He's a three-time All-State selection and batted .447 with nine home runs, 14 doubles and 31 runs batted in as a junior.
Troy Southisene, INF, OF (Las Vegas, Nev.) – Named an All-State selection during his time at Basic High School. Southisene batted .340 with two home runs and five doubles as a junior.
Ceighton Tuzzio, RHP (Clarinda, Iowa) – Tuzzio is joining the program from Iowa Western Community College. He was All-Region as a freshman, going 3-1 with 50 strikeouts in 39 innings.
Diego Vazquez, INF (La Verne, Calif.) – Vazquez is a sophomore at Fullerton College, where he batted .253 with two home runs, 10 doubles and 25 RBI as a freshman. He was a League MVP at Bonita High School.
August Ware, LHP (Hillsboro, Ore.) – The Oregon native atttends Glencoe High School where he's been rated as the No. 4 prospect in the state by Baseball Northwest. He's been a Second-Team All-State selection and struck out 101 in 50 innings his junior year.
