CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State fell in straight sets to San Diego at Gill Coliseum on Thursday.

Maëli Cormier's impressive run of performances also continued, as the Beavers' freshman outside hitter tallied nine kills, which included a pair on back-to-back sets midway through the third set to give the Beavers some momentum.

The Beavers and Toreros battled throughout the game, and OSU found some momentum mid-way through the second set, rattling off a quick 3-0 run that tied the game up at 10 apiece, but USD pulled away down the stretch to win the second 25-16; San Diego finished the game by winning 25-18, 25-16 and 25-14.
