CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State women's golf head coach Dawn Shockley announced Monday the addition of Faith Tufono who will join the Beaver women's golf program beginning with the 2025-26 season.
"We talk about finding the right people for our program and we found another exceptional human and golfer," Shockley said. "Our staff and I have been waiting for the right fit to fill out our roster and couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Faith to our program. She is a young woman who is driven, motivated, and ready to put in the work to help our program continue to grow."
Tufono, a native of San Antonio, Texas, will be a four-year letterwinner in golf at Cornerstone Christian Schools at the conclusion of the 2025 spring season. She was selected the team's Most Valuable Player every year in high school and has been named a team captain.
She chose Oregon State because "They have amazing golf coaches, a great golf program and an awesome golf schedule where they play against the best of the best players every tournament. Oregon is a beautiful state with the beach, mountains, high desert, and great golf nearby."
Tufono carries a 4.16 cumulative GPA at Cornerstone Christian Schools and is a member of the Honor Roll and National Honor Society. Her hobbies are pickleball, piano, volleyball, drawing, painting, and video games.
She has two brothers, Eli and Tyson, and three sisters, Anela, Shannon and Loimata.
