Beavers Make Major Improvements at Nuttycombe

VERONA, Wisc. – Three Oregon State runners improved their Nuttycombe Invitational records by a minute.
Leading the Beavers, Kate Laurent earned the first Oregon State finish with a time of 20:39.7. Shaving almost a minute off of her previous time, Laurent moved up 111 spots from last year's finish, cinching the 28th place spot.
Erika Cunniam showed her improvement on the course today, racing in the championship race this year, as she bettered her previous course time by over a minute and a half, finishing in 22:24.7. Joining Cunniam in the championship race for the first time as well, Erin Cosgrove's 21:36.2 finish improved by almost a minute and a half from last year.
Running in the B race today, Ainsley Herron led the Beavs to finish 25th. Noemi Lundgren finished 27th to join Herron in the top 30.
