
Wrestling Signs Six On National Signing Day

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team welcomed six new student-athletes ahead of the 2025-26 school year, as announced on Thursday by head coach Chris Pendleton.
Koy Davidson
144 lbs. • Ft. Dodge, Iowa • Ft. Dodge HS
Slotted at ninth in MatScouts' poll at 144 and 87th of the top 250, Davidson brings a championship pedigree to Corvallis. The Iowa product has tallied titles throughout his time during his prep career, including a state crown at 138 lbs.

Jeff Lopez
132 lbs. • Fresno, Calif. • Clovis West HS
Ranked 122nd in MatScouts' top 250 at 132 lbs, Lopez will be coming to Corvallis with strong experience. Behind a win over the top-ranked competitor in the CIF state tournament, Lopez capped his junior year with a runner-up finish at the event at 126 before bumping up to 144 for this school year.

Anthony Mutarelli
132 lbs. • Ivyland, Pa. • Council Rock South HS
Having entered his final high school season with 33 wins by fall, Mutarelli has been tabbed as MatScouts' 18th-best prospect at 138 lbs. and 101 in their top 250. The Keystone State product placed at both the Beast of the East and Escape the Rock tournament and twice placed at the Walsh Ironman. On the prep scene, he won a national championship.

Khale McDonnell
220 lbs. • Fountain Valley, Calif. • Fountain Valley HS
Tabbed 16th among 220-pounders by MatScouts and 121st in their 250 for the class of 2025, Khale McDonnell will be the next talented prep product to join the OSU wrestling room. The Californian is a two-time placer at the CIF state tournament along with placing at the Super 32.
Khale is the brother of current Beaver wrestler, TJ, who competes at 184 lbs.

Adrien Reyes
190 lbs. • Clovis, Calif. • Clovis HS
The Californian will bring some high praise next school year to Corvallis as he was tabbed the 21st best at 190 by MatScouts and no. 148 in the top 250 by the same publication. Reyes was a U16 national champion in freestyle competition and twice placed in the CIF state tournament on the prep scene.

Manny Saldate
138 lbs. • Las Vegas, Nev. • Sports Leadership and Management Academy
Ranked by MatScouts as their 13th-ranked prospect at 138 lbs and no. 95 in their top 250, Saldate will bring a slew of accolades to Corvallis next fall. The Nevada product has been an All-American at Fargo, twice in Freestyle and once more at Greco-Roman. Additionally, he's placed twice at the Doc Buchanan tournament as well as the Super 32 challenge.
On the prep scene, he's placed three times in the state tournament, twice winning the state title as well as a third-place finish.

The Beavers will be back in action this weekend, when they return home to face Oklahoma State on November 17. The dual can be seen exclusively on FloSports and is slated to start at 2 p.m.
