Split Week Ahead for Beavers

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Returning to action after splitting the results of the Bay Area swing, the Oregon State volleyball team will have a split week – away at Pacific before hosting San Diego – as they wrap up 2024's penultimate road swing before opening the last homestand.
The Matchups

Numbers to Know
4 – Four – Yasemin Narlioglu (15), Emma Lilo (12), Vivian Light (11) and Alexis Rodrgiuez (10) - had double-figure digs in the reverse sweep win over San Francisco on Saturday.
4 – The Beavs will honor four seniors - Kalli Schoening, Elly Schraeder, Amanda Burns and Iris Coba - on Saturday afternoon.
4 – Oregon State sits in fourth in assists-per-set during WCC play. The Beavers have averaged 11.9 per set.
5 – By weekend's end, the Beavers will have played in four different Golden State locales.
6 - With 320 points, Annika Hester sits sixth in the WCC for points.

The Week's Opposition
• Oregon State faces Pacific for the first time this season - and in the Behonick era - before welcoming San Diegon for the rematch. The Beavs and Toreros previously met in October.
Series Renewals
• Oregon State will meet Pacific for the 13th time in history. The Tigers hold a 9-3 lead in the series but the Beavers have won two of the last three.
• The Beavers and Toreros will meet for the seventh time when Saturday arrives. It will be the first time the sides have met in Corvallis.
• Despite San Diego taking two of the last three, Oregon State holds a 4-2 mark in the series.
Looking Back at Last Week
• The Beavers fell to Santa Clara on the road in a sweep before they defeated San Francisco in five, securing the reverse-sweep. With the win over the Dons, it capped the season series over the foe.
A New Era Underway
• For the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years, OSU is an affiliate member of the WCC before returning to a rebuilt Pac-12 in 2026-27.
• Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State and Utah State will join OSU and Washington State in the Pac-12 on July 1, 2026.
Aces Wild
• The Beavers tallied 11 service aces in the sweep of Gonzaga. It marked the second highest in a WCC match since the four-set win at Portland to end September, when they had a dozen.
• In the sweep of Gonzaga, the Beavs had back-to-back sets with four aces.
• This season, Light's 0.38 aces/set mark is third in the league.
• Light's five-ace match at Portland in ranks atop the league's single-match performances in WCC action. It ranks as tops in the league during four-set matches.
• Lilo's five-ace outing against San Francisco three weeks ago is the most in a five-match set this season.
Lilo Leveling Up
• Standing at 589 assists, Lilo entered OSU's top 10 for assists in a single season by a freshman in the win over Saint Mary's last month with her 485th helper.
• The Kailua, Hawaii, product currently sits in a tie for 7th place along with Izzi Szulczewski, who had 589 in the 2020-21 season. With one more, she will have sole possession of seventh.

• Three Beavs - Emma Lilo, Annika Hester and Lauren Rumel - have played in all 86 sets so far in the 22 matches played this season.
