STANFORD, Calif. – Madde Sund had a hole-in-one to highlight the Oregon State women's golf team's final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate, hosted by Dr. Condoleezza Rice on Sunday.
Sund's ace came on the par-3, 170-yard third hole at the par-71, 6,278-yard Stanford Golf Course.
The Beavers concluded the three-day, 54-hole tournament in 16th place after finishing with a 41-over 307-291-295—893. They moved up the leaderboard after the second and third rounds of the fall's annual event.

Kyra Ly, a native of Portland, continued her strong junior campaign with a tie for 51st place, posting a 9-over 77-72-73—222. Like Sund and Nakao, she had two birdies in all three rounds.
After opening the tournament with an 81, Rebecca Kim bounced back the next two rounds to finish in a tie for 82nd place with an 18-over 81-73-77—231. The sophomore from South Surrey, B.C. had three birdies in the final two rounds after getting none on the opening day.
True freshman Clara Alevag, from Gothenburg, Sweden, finished in a tie for 82nd place with an 18-over 79-75-77—231. She was the only Oregon State golfer to roll in three birdies in a round, which came on the second day.
Stanford and USC shared the team title with an 18-under 834. Jasmine Koo of USC took home medalist honors with an 11-under 202, one stroke better than teammate Catherine Park.
