
Oregon State Heads North for Two

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Venturing north to the Evergreen State, the Oregon State volleyball team returns to action against Washington State and Gonzaga this week.
The Matchups

• The Beavers and Cougars will meet for the 108th time on Thursday night inside Bohler Gym. Washington State holds the series lead by a 58-49 margin.
• 2023's meetings were split, with the road team taking both matches. OSU's win was a five-set thriller over the then-sixth-ranked Cougars.
• Last year's upset on the Palouse marked the highest ranked win of the Behonick era.
• Oregon State first played Washington State in the second season of the program, 1968.

• Oregon State split their matches last week - falling 3-0 to Santa Clara before upsetting then-WCC leader, San Francisco, in five sets.
• Three Beavers put up double-digit kills while Emma Lilo registered 41 assists on the way to the 3-2 win over the Dons on Saturday.
A New Era Underway
• For the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years, OSU is an affiliate member of the WCC before returning to a rebuilt Pac-12 in 2026-27.
• Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State and Utah State will join OSU and Washington State in the Pac-12 on July 1, 2026.
• Gonzaga is the second future Pac-12 (outside WSU) opponent on the schedule, following the opener against Fresno State.
Aces Wild
• With three weeks of league play behind Oregon State, three Beavs are in the top-four in aces-per-set in WCC action: Iris Coba (2nd - 0.47), Emma Lilo (3rd - 0.42), Vivian Light (4th - 0.41)

• Oregon State's pair of preseason conference-honored student-athletes were Hester and Rumel
