Oregon State Heads to Riverfront Invite & Multis

SPOKANE, Wash. – Oregon State will send its sprinters and jumpers to the Inland Northwest this weekend with the Beavs competing in the Riverfront Invite and Multis at The Podium. Â

The meet opens on Thursday with Anneke Moersdorf competing in the pentathlon. Oregon State's results throughout the meet can be found here and the meet will be streamed here.
The Beavs will also send a small contigent to Portland for meets this weekend. When available, the live results link will be posted here.

LAST TIME OUT
Oregon State's Adael Scatena and Abigail Pradere posted new Oregon State Top 10 marks in the Beavers' season re-opener on Saturday at the UW Invite.

Scatena is the only Beav currently in the top 10 in the 200, 400 and 800 meters after her 2:11.72 secured the no. 6 spot all-time.

Pradere moved up the OSU Top 10 in the mile with a personal best mark of 4:42.99. The grad transfer entered the top 10 in her true OSU debut at the Spokane Indoor but had not set a PB in orange and black before Saturday

Kate Laurent, Sage Brooks and Erika Cunniam provided the meet's other highlights in the 3,000 meters with Laurent's 9:33.21 earning her eighth in school history. Brooks took over 10th with a 9:34.13 while Cunniam raced to a PR of 9:40.54. The race also saw the indoor debut of several freshmen.

2023 INDOOR IN REVIEW
Oregon State's 2022-23 indoor season was a showcase for the growth of the program since the hire of head coach Louie Quintana and his staff. The Beavers sent Kaylee Mitchell and Grace Fetherstonhaugh to nationals where they brought home three All-America honors. OSU also broke seven school records with six athletes rewriting the record books. The Beavers also had 22 new marks on the school's Top 10 list throughout the season.
