CORVALLIS, Ore. – Raegan Beers is officially among the top centers in the nation as the Basketball Hall of Fame and WBCA placed the sophomore on the Top 10 List for the Lisa Leslie Award.
Â
Named after the three-time All-American,1994 National Player of the Year, and Class of 2015 Hall of Famer, the annual award, in its seventh year, recognizes the top centers in women's NCAA Division I college basketball.
Â
Beers, one of two underclassmen among the top 10, ranks fourth in the nation in field goal percentage (67.5%) while scoring 19.6 points per game. Her 12 double-doubles are tied for the most in the Pac-12 and eighth-most in the country and her 11.6 rebounds per game rank fifth nationally and lead the league.
