Beavers Headed to Seattle U for Thursday Tilt

THE GAMES: Oregon State will continue its 2023 season this week when it hits the road for a matchup with Seattle U. The game will take place Thursday at 7 p.m.

UP NEXT: Following Thursday's contest, Oregon State will have a week off leading up to the start of conference play next Thursday at California. The Beavers' next home game will come on Sept. 24 when LMU visits Lorenz Field.

- The Beavers have scored three goals or more in three-straight games for the first time since 2003. Oregon State last accomplished the feat on Oct. 19 (Washington 3-1), Oct. 31 (California 3-1) and Nov. 2 (Stanford 3-2 OT) in the 2003 campaign.

The Coaches:
- Oregon State head coach Greg Dalby joins the Beavers for his first season as head coach.
- Dalby spent the last five seasons as an assistant coach at Penn State, and before that worked at Notre Dame and Davidson.
- Dalby was an All-American and MAC Hermann semifinalist at Notre Dame during his playing career, and played professionally in MLS and the Belgian Premiere League.
- Sergi Nus returns for his second season with the Beavers, and is the only returning member of the staff.
- Jarred Brookins is in his first year with OSU, after joining the team from Davidson.
- Former Oregon State players Evan Munn (Assistant Coach - Goalkeepers) and Adrian Molina-Diaz (Graduate Assistant Coach) also joined the OSU staff this summer.

The Matchups:
- Oregon State is 8-3-1 all-time against Seattle U, and has won the last two meetings between the two sides, which have come in the last two seasons.
- The Beavers won last year's meeting between the two teams, with Dante Williams scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 Oregon State triumph. Ellis Spikner recorded an assist in the contest, while Luis Castillo made one save while holding the clean sheet.
