Jade Carey To Participate At USA Gymnastics Selection Camp

KATY, Texas – Oregon State student-athlete Jade Carey is one of 19 gymnasts who will participate at the USA Gymnastics Women's Artistic Selection Camp Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 19 and 20, in Katy, Texas as they vie to represent the United States at the 2023 Artistic World Championships and the 2023 Pan American Games.
Six women will be named to the roster for the Artistic Championships, September 30-October 8 in Antwerp, Belgium, while five will be named for 2023 Pan American Games, October 21-25 in Santiago, Chile.
Streamed live both days on Flipnow.tv, the camp will include an all-around competition on Tuesday beginning at 3:50 p.m. PT. Action on Wednesday begins at 3:15 p.m. PT and features select routines.
Team selections will be announced Wednesday evening, September 19. Selections procedures for the World Championships are available here; Pan Am Games can be found here.
Katelyn Jong has earned a named individual quota spot at Pan Ams by virtue of winning the all-around competition at the 2021 Junior Pan American Games. Should she be named to the U.S. team, her individual spot will be vacated.
