Five Score in Double Figures in 107-34 Victory

CASARA, Italy – Raegan Beers led five players in double figures with 18 points as Oregon State knocked off ASD Polisportiva Casarsa 107-34 on Sunday.

Kelsey Rees and Beers both recorded double-doubles with 10 rebounds each. Rees scored 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting and 1-of-2 from three. Timea Gardiner led the team on the boards with 12.

Beers and AJ Marotte set the tone early in the game, scoring 15 of the team's 29 points as OSU jumped out to a 29-9 lead. Marotte finished with 14 points, three assists and two steals. The junior hit 2-of-4 attempts from long range.

Dominika Paurova dominated the second quarter, scoring eight of her 15 points in the period as the Beavs extended their advantage to 54-17. The freshman had two steals and made 4-of-7 shots from the floor.

Adlee Blacklock led a balanced attack in the third quarter with five points, almost half of her 11 in the contest. Sela Heide also chipped in four points on 2-of-2 shooting from the floor. The junior finished with eight points and four rebounds.

Oregon State closed the game with its best quarter. Defensively, the Beavers allowed just three points, their third of four quarters holding the opposition under 10. Offensively, OSU had eight scorers with seven assists on 10 baskets. Rees, Blacklock, Paurova and Donovyn Hunter scored five points each in the period.

The Beavers' final foreign tour game will be on Tuesday against Basket Costa.
