Pac-12 Announces Women’s Basketball Matchups
July 12, 2023 | Women's Basketball
CORVALLIS – The Pac-12 Conference released matchups for the 2023-24 women's basketball season on Wednesday.
Oregon State's 2023-24 schedule will include homestands with every conference foe except Washington State and Washington. The Beavers will travel to every school except Arizona and Arizona State.
During the 2022-23 season, the Beavs did not host the Bay Area schools and did not travel to Utah and Colorado.
Scott Rueck and the Beavers return seven athletes from the 2022-23 team including Pac-12 Freshman and Sixth Woman of the Year Raegan Beers and 2021-22 All-Pac-12 choice Talia von Oelhoffen. All five members of OSU's third-ranked 2022 recruiting class return for their sophomore seasons.
OSU added experience in the offseason with the additions of Sela Heide (Cal) and Kelsey Rees (Utah) from conference schools as well as Susana Yepes from South Georgia Tech. A three-woman freshman class includes Oregon All-6A State Tournament selections Donovyn Hunter (South Medford) and Kennedie Shuler (Barlow) as well as Dominika Paurová (DME Academy), who was the second-youngest player in the 2023 Women's EuroBasket field.
Since the 2015-16 season, the Pac-12 leads all conferences in regular-season, non-conference winning percentage (.801) and NCAA Tournament winning percentage (.667), and is tied for the national lead in Final Four appearances (7).
