As a team, Oregon State had one of its most memorable seasons come to an end after finishing in a tie for 22nd place with a 28-over 297-293-302--892 at the par-72, 6,383-yard Grayhawk Golf Club. The top 15 teams after Sunday's round advanced to play 18 additional holes on Monday to determine the eight teams for match play.
The Beavers earned a trip to the NCAA National Championships for just the second time in program history after finishing in second place at the NCAA Westfield Regional, the best finish at a regional in school history. The only other time Oregon State made it to the NCAA Championships was 1998 when it finished in 16th place.
Gomez played the best golf of her career this postseason with six consecutive sub-par rounds. She finished in a tie for seventh place at the NCAA Westfield Regional with a career-best 6-under 71-68-71--210 and followed that with a 4-under 212 in hot and windy conditions at the NCAA Championships.
The fourth-year senior will return to Oregon State next season and has a chance to earn her fifth career Top 10 finish. Three of the four Top 10 finishes have come this season, while posting 11 rounds in red figures. She shot a total of eight sub-par rounds in her first three years as a Beaver.
Amanda Minni and Kelsey Webster both played their final round for Oregon State on Sunday.
Minni, who competed for Oregon State for six years, wrapped up a great college career after shooting a 14-over 77-71-82--230 and finishing in a tie for 117th place. She got a birdie on her final hole as a Beaver at the challenging par-5, 495-yard 18th. Minni played 87 career rounds and had four Top 10 finishes, including two in her final season.
Minni's best finish was a tie for third place at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational during her sophomore season. Her best career round was a 3-under 69 as a freshman and her best three-round score was a 1-under 212 at the USF Intercollegiate this past fall.
Webster, who transferred to Oregon State from the University of Colorado in May 2021, was the alternate in Sunday's round and shot a 5-over 77. She rolled in a birdie on the par-5, 474-yard seventh hole to go with one double-bogey and four bogeys.
Webster's best finish as a Beaver was a team-best tie for fifth place at the 2022 Pac-12 Championship in Eugene to help them finish in a tie for second place, the best placing at the conference tournament in program history.
Danique Stokmans and Madde Sund both had great success as redshirt sophomores in 2022-23. Stokmans finished the NCAA Championships in a tie for 89th place with a 9-over 74-75-76--225, while Sund shot a 14-over 75-76-79--230 to finish in a tie for 117th.
Stokmans' best finish this season was a team-best tie for 11th place at the Pac-12 Championship and her best score was a career-best tying 4-under 68 at the Illini Women's Invitational.
Sund excelled at the NCAA Westfield Regional with three career bests -- tie for seventh place, 4-under 68 and 6-under 68-71-71--210.
True freshman Kyra Ly played the first two rounds at the NCAA Championships and had scores of 78-81.
