CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State has added a meet to their 2023 indoor schedule to give three jumpers the opportunity to improve their national standing ahead of the NCAA Indoor National Championships.
The Beavs will send Delaney Bahn, Anneke Moersdorf and Emma Nelson to the Arkansas Qualifier on Friday. Bahn and Moersdorf broke school records in the long and triple jumps last weekend at the Don Kirby Classic while Nelson won the high jump at the UW Preview earlier this season.

LAST TIME OUT
Oregon State set four school records at the UW Husky and Don Kirby Classics last weekend.
Â
On day one, Adael Scatena and Delaney Bahn set school records in the 200 meters and long jump in a standout day at the Don Kirby Classic.
Â
Scatena struck first with a time of 24.54 in the 200 meters, knocking .4 seconds off her previous best. Then, Bahn recorded a 20-1.5 leap in the long jump, outpacing her previous long by nine inches. With two more records downed on Friday, the 2023 Beavs have set five new indoor track and field records.
Â
On day two, Keely McLaughlin and Anneke Moersdorf set new school records in the shot put and triple jump to highlight a strong second day at the Don Kirby and Husky Classics.
Â
McLaughlin outmuscled a 37-year-old record with a 48-foot, 11.5-inch shot put to open the day. She pushed past her previous career-high by seven inches. Moersdorf broke her own record with a triple jump with a 41-foot, 2.5-inch leap.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
Entering the weekend, Oregon State has posted four qualifying marks for the 2022 NCAA Indoor Championships. The top-16 individuals and top-12 relays advance in each event.
Â
Mitchell is double-qualified individually with the no. 12 time in the mile and no. 10 in the 3,000 meters. Fetherstonhaugh ranks 13th in the 3,000 meters and is just outside the field with the no. 31 time in the mile.
