
Beavers Headed to College Cup for Matchup with Notre Dame

THE GAME: The Oregon State men's soccer team will play in the College Cup for the first time in program history on Friday. The Beavers will take on No. 2-seed Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. PT
FOLLOW ALONG: The game will air live on ESPNU.
UP NEXT: Should the Beavers advance beyond Friday, the would face either Clemson or West Virginia in the National Championship game on Monday.
Awards:
- Logan Farrington was named Pac-12 Player of the Year. He is Oregon State's fifth all-time Pac-12 Player of the Year and the program's third straight (Danny Mwanga – 2009, Khiry Shelton – 2014, Sofiane Djeffal – 2021, Joran Gerbet – 2022).
- Farrington was also named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, and was selected to the All-Pac-12 First Team. He was joined by fellow All-Pac-12 honorees Javier Armas (1st Team), Luis Castillo (1st Team), Ellis Spikner (2nd Team), Arnau Farnos (Honorable Mention) and Dante Williams (Honorable Mention).
- Farrington, Armas and Castillo were all named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Far West Region First Team on Tuesday.
NCAA Tournament:
- This is the fourth-straight season, and the fifth time in the last six years that the Beavers have made the NCAA Tournament.
- The Beavers have won seven NCAA Tournament games over the past five seasons.
- The Beavers are currently in the midst of their deepest ever run in the NCAA Tournament, making their first ever appearance in the College Cup. Oregon State's previous best run came in 2021 when the Beavers were eliminated by Clemson in the Quarterfinal round in Corvallis. Oregon State was the No. 1 overall seed that season
- The Beavers have out-scored their opponents 13-2 in their four Tournament wins.
