Beavers Ink Pair for Latest Signing Class

CORVALLIS, Ore. – A pair of student-athletes have signed their National Letters of Intent and will join the Oregon State wrestling team for the 2024-25 season, head coach Chris Pendleton announced on Wednesday.
Hudson Rogers
174 • Meridian, Idaho • Meridian HS
One of the Gem State's best wrestlers, Rogers has registered numerous wins on the way to his signing with the Beavers. Numerous times named an All-American from performances in Fargo, Rogers picked up a national championship at the USAW Folkstyle Nationals and recently won an Idaho state crown.
He carries a .917 (66-6) winning percentage with 27 wins by fall, 14 by technical fall and 11 major decision victories.
Hunter Taylor
125 • Liberty, Mo. • Liberty HS
A two-time individual and three-time Missouri state champion, Taylor is yet another lauded recruit to sign with the Beavers. The 120-lb. grappler clinched his second consecutive state crown by decision. He has won in back-to-back appearances in the freestyle Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota, including by technical fall in the 2023 edition.
He has a 42-14 record with 20 wins coming by fall, seven by technical fall and four via major decisions.
