
Beavers Headed to Dallas for Matchup with SMU

THE GAME: The Oregon State men's soccer team will head to Dallas for a Saturday evening matchup with 6-seeded SMU in the NCAA Tournament's Round of 16.

UP NEXT: Should the Beavers advance beyond Saturday, they would face the winner of North Carolina vs. Hofstra in the quarterfinal round of the tournament.
Pac-12 Awards:
- Logan Farrington was named Pac-12 Player of the Year. He is Oregon State's fifth all-time Pac-12 Player of the Year and the program's third straight (Danny Mwanga – 2009, Khiry Shelton – 2014, Sofiane Djeffal – 2021, Joran Gerbet – 2022).
- Farrington was also named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, and was selected to the All-Pac-12 First Team. He was joined by fellow All-Pac-12 honorees Javier Armas (1st Team), Luis Castillo (1st Team), Ellis Spikner (2nd Team), Arnau Farnos (Honorable Mention) and Dante Williams (Honorable Mention).
NCAA Tournament:
- This is the fourth-straight season, and the fifth time in the last six years that the Beavers have made the NCAA Tournament.
- The Beavers have won five NCAA Tournament games over the past five seasons.
- With a win on Saturday, the Beavers would match their deepest ever NCAA Tournament run. Oregon State previously made the quarterfinals in 2021
- Sunday's 3-0 win over Portland was Oregon State's biggest ever Tournament triumph

- Oregon State earned a landmark victory earlier this season, taking down No. 1 Stanford on the road.

- Oregon State head coach Greg Dalby joins the Beavers for his first season as head coach.
- Dalby spent the last five seasons as an assistant coach at Penn State, and before that worked at Notre Dame and Davidson.
- Dalby was an All-American and MAC Hermann semifinalist at Notre Dame during his playing career, and played professionally in MLS and the Belgian Premiere League.
- Sergi Nus returns for his second season with the Beavers, and is the only returning member of the staff.
- Jarred Brookins is in his first year with OSU, after joining the team from Davidson.
- Former Oregon State players Evan Munn (Assistant Coach - Goalkeepers) and Adrian Molina-Diaz (Graduate Assistant Coach) also joined the OSU staff this summer.
