Kitan Oladapo Earns Breakout Defensive Player Of The Week Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State's Kitan Oladapo was selected as the Breakout Defensive Player of the Week by the East-West Shrine Bowl on Monday.
The honor is given weekly to the all-star eligible defensive player who displayed the most NFL traits the weekend prior.
Oladapo earned the recognition after intercepting two passes in the Beavers' 62-17 victory over Stanford Saturday at Reser Stadium. He became the first Beaver with two picks in a game since Treston Decoud in 2016 against Idaho State. Oladapo was also the first in a Pac-12 Conference game since Rashaad Reynolds tallied two versus Washington State in 2013.
Kick Saturday between Oregon State and Washington is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT and the game will air live on ABC.
