Baseball’s Recruiting Class Ranked 8th By Baseball America

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State baseball's recruiting class, which includes current freshmen on the 2024 team, has been ranked eighth by Baseball America.
"This is the second time in three years that Oregon State has landed a top-10 class and the second straight year that a top-100 draft prospect has made it to campus, with Caraway joining Gavin Turley in that status," Baseball America wrote in its roundup of classes.
Caraway is rated highest individually among Oregon State's incomers, and is joined by catcher Evan Gustafson, outfielder Carson McEntire, right-handed pitchers Eric Segura, Laif Palmer, James DeCremer, Bryce Johnson and Bridger Holmes. Each Beaver listed were highlighted by the publication.
Oregon State has three top-16 classes at Oregon State under Mitch Canham, the Pat Casey Head Baseball Coach with the Beavers. OSU's 2021 class was ranked sixth, followed by No. 16 prior to the 2023 season.
