BEAVS LOOKING TO BUILD MOMENTUM AT HOME
The Beavers are looking to continue momentum from a strong showing at Houston this weekend in Corvallis. OSU knocked off Alabama and swept UCA before going toe-to-toe with undefeated Houston, nearly pulling off a reverse sweep.
Â
DIG DEEP
In 2021, the Beavers finished fourth in the Pac-12 with 14.20 digs per set, led by then-senior Grace Massey (4.40 d/set). With Massey lost to graduation, OSU has looked towards Ryan White (2.61 d/set), Emma Villaluz (3.06 d/set) and multiple incoming freshmen to replace her defensive production. Both players have starts at libero this season and have played in every match.
Â
INTERNATIONAL FLAIR
More than a third of Oregon State's roster came to Corvallis from outside the United States, including two of OSU's five freshmen and transfer setter Inna Balyko. The Beavs are one of just four Pac-12 teams with multiple international student-athletes.
