Chayse Gomez Leads Beavers Through 36 Holes In Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Chayse Gomez carded an even-par 72 for the second-straight day to lead the Oregon State women's golf team at the Florida State Match-Up on Saturday.
The Beavers slipped to sixth place in the 12-team field with a 23-over 296-303--599 at the par-72, 6,255-yard Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
The final round of the three-day tournament begins at 5 a.m. PT (8 a.m. ET) on Sunday. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
Gomez is in sixth place with an even-par 72-72--144 heading into Sunday's final round. She had an eagle on the on the par-5, 505-yard fourth hole and three birdies on Saturday.
Her best career finish a tie for 13th place at the Cougar Cup in her first collegiate tournament in the fall of 2019. Her best three-round score is a 2-under 214 at the same event.
Issy Taylor moved up to a tie for 20th place after shooting a 1-over 73 in the second round. She opened the tourney with a 4-over 76 and has six birdies through the first 36 holes.
Madde Sund is tied for 28th place with a 7-over 75-76--151, Danique Stokmans is tied for 46th place with an 11-over 73-82--155 and Amanda Minni sits in a tie for 66th with an 18-over 80-82--162.
