June 08, 2020 | Men's Rowing
SAN FRANCISCO – Five Oregon State men's rowers were named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Conference on Monday.
To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must have a 3.30 cumulative GPA and have a minimum one-year residency at the institution. The Honor Roll is a new initiative by the league that takes the place of the former academic first team and second teams.
The Beavers' five men's rowing honorees include Andrew Bullock (Business Administration), Tyler Gray (BioHealth Sciences), Josh Hocker (Civil Engineering), Jacob Randall (Fisheries and Wildlife) and Jacoby Wilson (Kinesiology).
The duo of Gray and Randall, were each honored with their third Pac-12 academic award in their careers, while Hocker received recognition for the second time. It is the first time Bullock and Wilson have been recognized for their work in the class room.
The Spring Academic Honor Roll includes student-athletes who participated in the Conference-sponsored sports of baseball, beach volleyball, men's and women's golf, lacrosse, men's and women's rowing, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field.
