Corvallis – If the 2020 season was still going on this week, Oregon State would have started the week finishing up the Civil War series on Monday followed by a Portland State doubleheader on Tuesday. Since that isn't the case, we turn our attention to the alumni of the program and the success they found on the field.

April 26
Oregon State defeated No. 23 Arizona, 2-1 in 2013. This victory started a three-game series sweep over Arizona – the first for the Beavers over the Wildcats.
Key moments:
In 2005, DeAnn Young went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored to help Oregon State defeat No. 11 Washington, 2-0.
Key moments:
Shelby Weeks led Oregon State in a back-and-forth battle with Oregon to help OSU capture the first Civill War sweep over the Ducks since 2006 with a 12-8 victory.
Key moments:
On this day in 2000, No. 12 Oregon State upset No. 4 Arizona State with a 3-0 victory.
Key moments:
In 2006, Oregon State defeated No. 6 Stanford, 4-0, led by Lisa Allen recording a hit, a run and two RBI.
Key moments:
Known as the "Grand Slam" in Oregon State's record book, OSU's 4-0 home finale victory in 2005 over No. 2 Arizona was a record-setting outing.
Key moments:
Crystal Draper became the first pitcher in Oregon State history to throw three no-hitters in her career. Draper threw 6.0 innings against Portland State for her second no-hitter of the season in 2001.

April 26
Oregon State defeated No. 23 Arizona, 2-1 in 2013. This victory started a three-game series sweep over Arizona – the first for the Beavers over the Wildcats.
Key moments:
- Tina Andreana pitched her second consecutive sparkler by carrying a no-hitter through 3.1 innings. She finished with five strikeouts through 7.0 innings of work and improved to 7-5 on the season.
- The Beavers outhit the Wildcats, 6-5. Every hit came from a different Beaver. Ashley Sanchez and Ally Kutz led the way with a hit and a RBI. The other Beavers to record a hit were Dani Gilmore, Lea Cavestany, Desiree Beltran and Hannah Bouska. Four of the Beaver's hits were doubles.
- Cavestany started things for OSU in the second inning with a double before Kutz hit a sac fly to right field to score her.
- Arizona tied it in the fourth before Oregon State answered with the eventual winning run in the fifth. Kutz led off with a double and Sanchez brought her in three batters later.
- Ya Garcia made an outstanding defensive play fielding a grounder up the middle and turning it into a game-ending play at the plate to preserve the victory.

- Young brought in both runs for Oregon State off a home run.
- Ta'Tyana McElroy led the Beavers from the circle with 7.0 innings of work and four strikeouts to improve to 13-7 on the season.
- Stefanie Ewing recorded a hit and scored the other run for the Beavers.
- Dani Chisholm and Paige Lowe recorded the other two hits for OSU to help the Beavers outhit the Huskies, 5-4.
- Oregon State scored both runs in the second inning and didn't commit a single error during the game.

- Weeks recorded three hits, including two home runs, three runs and three RBI.
- Frankie Hammoude and Maia Rader each had two hits and two RBI. Hammoude added two runs with Rader scoring once.
- Five other Beavers added a hit in the game to bring OSU's tally up to 12.
- OSU took the early lead with Weeks scoring in the top of the first. Oregon claimed the lead in the bottom of the inning.
- OSU reclaimed the lead scoring five runs in the third beginning with Weeks hitting a solo-home run. The Ducks scored in the third and fourth innings to take back the lead, 7-6.
- Hammoude evened things in the fifth with a solo-shot over the left-field fence before Oregon scored again in the fifth.
- OSU had a big inning in the sixth as Izzy Owen and Rader both doubled and Weeks went yard for the second time to give OSU the 10-8 lead.
- The Beavers punched the final two runs of the game in the seventh as Lovie Lopez and Karla Calderon both scored to improve to 24-18 overall.
- Nerissa Eason started in the circle and pitched 3.1 innings with five strikeouts before being replaced by Mariah Mazon.
On this day in 2000, No. 12 Oregon State upset No. 4 Arizona State with a 3-0 victory.
Key moments:
- Tarrah Beyster threw her fifth-complete game shutout of the year to improve to 22-9 on the season after only giving up two hits while striking out four batters.
- OSU jumped ahead early with two runs in the first inning. Shawna Feldt singled in the first inning and Shelly Prochaska and Beyster drew walks to load the bases. Jenni Jodoin single to right field to drive in two runs.
- Beyster's walk was the 200th of her career and 39th of that season.
- OSU added a third run in the fifth inning as Beyster hit a single deep into center field to bring Feldt home.
In 2006, Oregon State defeated No. 6 Stanford, 4-0, led by Lisa Allen recording a hit, a run and two RBI.
Key moments:
- Cambria Miranda recorded two hits of her own with one RBI.
- Three other Beavers (Brianne McGowen, Maggie DeWall and Stefanie Ewing) each recorded a hit to help OSU outhit the Cardinal, 6-3.
- Adrienne Alo, Kellie Roberts and DeWall each scored a run for OSU along with Allen. Miranda and Ewing added a RBI to match Allen's.
- McGowen pitched a complete game shutout with 11 strikeouts. She faced 26 batters and improved to 23-4 on the season.

Key moments:
- Junior catcher Lisa Allen belted a sixth-inning bases loaded two-out full-count pitch over the center field fence for her first career grand slam.
- Sophomore pitcher Brianne McGowen amassed a career-high 12 strikeouts as the No. 8 Beavers stunned the Wildcats.
- OSU won the season series against Arizona for the first time in program history and earned its first victory over the Wildcats in Corvallis since 1989.
- This victory proved to by the tie-breaker in the Pac-10 Conference championship and the Beavers earned the Pac-10's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
