Oregon State would be No. 4 seed in Greenville Regional
CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women's basketball team has been tabbed as the No. 15 team in the nation by the NCAA Selection Committee, as the group released its final preliminary rankings of the season Monday.
If the season ended today, the Beavers would be a No. 4 seed in the Greenville Regional. Monday's reveal is the second of two scheduled by the NCAA Selection Committee this season. Neither preliminary reveal has any direct effect on the Committee's final selections, which will be announced during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show on March 16.
The Beavers are No. 14 in this week's Associated Press poll, and are 22-8 on the season. Oregon State has made the NCAA Tournament in six-straight seasons, including four-straight Sweet 16's. OSU has hosted the first and second rounds of the tournament four times in program history, including last season.
Mikayla Pivec was named Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year on Monday. For more on that, click here.
Oregon State will head to the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas this week, where it will face Washington State on Thursday.
