No. 21 Beavers to Travel to Face No. 10 Golden Bears

• Oregon State (8-4) is back on the road this weekend to face No. 10 California (7-5) in a Pac-12 Conference contest Saturday at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley. The meet is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
• The Beavers remain at No. 21 in this week's rankings according to RoadToNationals.com.
• OSU enters the week with a 8-4 overall record and is 3-1 in Pac-12 competition.
• Oregon State is in the third of five straight meets against teams ranked in the top 13 in the nation.

AGAINST THE GOLDEN BEARS
• The Beavers lead the all-time the series with the Bears, 93-6.
• Oregon State won both meetings in 2019 - 196.950-196.150 in a dual in Corvallis and a second time 196.600-196.575 at Pac-12 Championships.
IT'S A TEAM EFFORT
• The Beavers have made it a habit in 2020 to use a full complement of gymnasts to complete their 24 routines. Through seven meets, OSU has used as many as 15 gymnasts four times - at the Critique Classic, vs. Seattle Pacific & Centenary, at Arizona and against Stanford.
• In all, 16 of the Beavers 20 gymnasts have performed in the competition lineup this season ... Lena Greene and Jane Poniewaz, who suffered season-ending injuries prior to the season starting, both likely would have held more than one lineup spot.
• Only one gymnast, Kayla Bird, has performed in the all-around and that was only in the season-opening Critique Classic.
SUPER SENIORS
• OSU has eight seniors on the roster consisting of Halli Briscoe, Lacy Dagen, Destinee Davis, Sabrina Gill, Jaime Law, Maela Lazaro, Isis Lowery and Alyssa Minyard.
• The senior class has performed a team-leading 73 routines and has combined to 'hit' 66 of those routines.
DAGEN DUO
• Sisters Lacy Dagen and Madi Dagen combined to hit their first 31 routines of the season.
• Lacy posted a career-best 9.975 to win the the event title and lead the team to a season-best 49.375 on the event ... she has collected two event titles in 2020.
• Madi secured her first event title of the season against Stanford scoring a career-high 9.90 on the vault completing the first Yurchenko 1 1/2 of her career.
EVENT TITLES
• After seven meets, the Beavers have secured 19 event titles (including ties).
• Last Saturday at Utah, Isis Lowery and Kaitlyn Yanish each scored 9.90s to tie for the event title on the floor exercise ... it is the fifth time in the last six meets Yanish has captured part of the floor title ... it is also the third straight meet that Lowery has posted the meet's top floor score.
• Against LSU & Arizona State, Maela Lazaro tied her career-high with a 9.925 on the balance beam to win the event title ... Lowery and Yanish tied for top honors on the floor exercise with matching scores of 9.925.
• Against Stanford, three different OSU gymnasts secured event titles. Madi Dagen captured her first title of the season with a career-high 9.90 on the vault, Lacy Dagen nabbed the beam title with a career-best 9.975 and Lowery won the floor title with a personal-mark of 9.975 as well.
• OSU gymnasts snagged a couple more titles at Arizona with Lacy Dagen and Lowery scoring 9.850 to tie for top honors on the beam while Yanish earned a score of 9.925 to win on the floor.
• Lazaro earned her first event title of the season tying her career-best with a 9.925 on the beam at Sacramento State. Yanish secured her second straight floor title with a 9.90 on the event as well.
• OSU gymnasts swept the competition in the Beavs' home opener against Seattle Pacific and Centenary. Yanish scored 9.850 on the vault, Halli Briscoe went for a 9.850 on the bars, and Lowery secured the beam title with a 9.875. Yanish and Lowery each tallied scores of 9.925 to tie for top honors on the floor exercise.
• Sabrina Gill swiped the uneven bars title at the season-opening Critique Classic with a 9.80.
LAST WEEK AT UTAH
• Oregon State hit its first 19 routines before stumbling on the balance beam with a pair of uncharacteristic falls matching the Utes struggles on the floor exercise during the final rotation.
• As a team, the Beavers set season-highs on the uneven bars (49.150) and vault (49.125) and posted their second-highest road score of the season despite counting a fall.
• Isis Lowery and Kaitlyn Yanish each nailed the floor posting scores of 9.90 on the floor to tie for top honors ... Sabrina Gill swung to her best uneven bars routine of the season scoring 9.90 to notch the second-highest score of the meet ... Lacy Dagen 'hit' her first Yurchenko 1 1/2 of the season to tally a career-high 9.875 on the vault. A week ago, sister Madi also performed a 1 1/2 upgrading the end of the Beavers' vault lineup ... Jenna Domingo continues to solidify her spot in the balance beam lineup tying her career-high of 9.875 on the event for the second week in a row.
QUICK STICKS
• All four of OSU's lineups are ranked among the top 30 in the nation. The balance beam lineup is the highest ranked for the Beavers at No. 10 (49.071 season average). Floor is 15th (49.161), uneven bars is No. 28 (48.789), and vault is No. 30 (48.829).
• Oregon State has 'hit' 154 out of 168 (91.7%) routines in 2020 ... in comparison, the Beavers 'hit' 313 out of 336 (93.2%) routines last season.
• Through seven meets, OSU's routine production breakdown looks like this: Seniors have performed 73 of 168 routines in 2020 (43.5%), juniors have produced 35 of 168 (20.8%), sophomores 34 of 168 (20.2%) and freshmen 26 of 168 (15.5%).
• Oregon State opened the season on the road for the fourth straight year
• Eleven of OSU's 15 regular season opponents on the 2020 schedule are currently ranked in the top 36, including six in the top 13.
• OSU hosts six regular season home meets in 2020 for the first time since 1981. The Beavers will be home Jan. 11 (vs. Seattle Pacific & Centenary), Feb.2 (vs. Stanford), Feb. 8 (vs. LSU & Arizona State), Feb. 29 (vs. UCLA), March 6 (vs. Washington) and March 14 (vs. Illinois).
• The gymnastics team posted a 3.4667 grade point average during the fall term ... the squad carries a cumulative GPA of 3.3664.
• Sixteen out of 20 OSU gymnasts posted GPAs of 3.0 or better during fall term and 13 were 3.5 or better including two 4.0s.
