The 2018 Portland Thorns FC Development Academy Player of the Year, Coll comes to Oregon State after being called up to the Portland Thorns FC as a rostered amateur for the 2019 NWSL preseason where she played a game against the 2019 U23 US Women's National Team.
Coll spent three years in the US Soccer National Training Center program that included the Western Regional Combine. In 2017 she played for the United States' Olympic Development Program Region-Four Team that won its first international tournament in San Juan, Costa Rica over the professional club Deportiva Saprissa Femenino. The Eugene native also earned one cap with the U17 USWNT after a 4-0 shutout over Venezuala. After she graduated from high school in 2019, Coll was under an amateur declaration with the Western Sydney Wanderers FC in the Australian W-League.
According to Kagan: "I am very excited to add a goalkeeper of Hailey's quality at this time of year. All of our interactions with her have been outstanding. She is a very dedicated young woman who wants to be part of a thriving culture on and off the field. She will add another dimension to our outstanding GK corps!"
The daughter of Laura and Bob, Hailey intends to major in nutrition, food science and athletic training while at Oregon State.
