Boise, Idaho
McDaniel (Boise, Idaho) will join Oregon State as a midfielder from Boise High School. She is a two-time All-State honoree, and was led her team to State Cup titles in 2017 and 2018. McDaniel earned Boise High School Offensive Player of the Year honors, and was the team's top goalscorer in 2020.
"Kendra is a worker bee in the middle of the field," Kagan said. "She is very technical, moves in the pockets very well, and has a very high connection rate. Fans are going to love how creative she is with and without the ball."
McDaniel played her club soccer with Idaho Rush, pacing them to the USYS President's Cup title in 2019. The midfielder helped her squad win the Idaho State Cup in 2017/2018, and earned invites to the U.S. ODP National Team in 2018 and 2019.
