Barker (Woodinville, Wash.) is a defender from Inglemoor High School. She earned 4A KingCo First Team honors in 2018 and to go along with a spot on the 2019 All-Seattle Star Times Team. Barker has also traveled internationally to play in Costa Rica with the United States ODP Regional Team.
"Juju is a hard-working, gritty, tough defender," Kagan said. "She is one of the first players we saw when we arrived at OSU and our staff fell in love with who she is as a person. She has great endurance and is very tenacious. She has a bright future here at OSU."
A player for PAC NW Soccer Club, Barker was a multi-sport athlete in high school. She was a Washington 4A State Gymnastics all-around qualifier, and was a two-time conference champion in the 110m hurdles.
