CORVALLIS, Ore. – Ethan Thompson and Tres Tinkle scored 22 points apiece in an 82-76 loss to Arizona State on Thursday evening at Gill Coliseum.

The Sun Devils (10-5, 1-1 Pac-12) took their biggest lead at 62-45 on Remy Martin's jumper with 9:34 remaining.

Oregon State responded with a 9-2 run to get back in the game, and Tinkle's four-point play cut the lead to 74-67 with 2:28 left.

The Beavers (11-4, 1-2 Pac-12) made things interesting down the stretch and closed to 80-76 on two free throws from Thompson with 16.2 seconds left, but they would not get closer.

Kylor Kelley was the other Oregon State player in double figures with 10 points.

Remy Martin scored 24 points and Rob Edwards added 18 off the bench to lead the Sun Devils.
