What is your favorite thing about playing at Oregon State?  Â
Kolby Taylor: "The College-town atmosphere."
What do you like most about Oregon State University, aside from playing football?  Â
KT: "The relationships I have made with all the people I have met."Â
What has been your favorite class at Oregon State?  Â
KT: "A professional development class. Learning how to interview and what things to prepare for going into the interview."
How would you describe what it's like to play for your position coach, Kefense Hynson?  Â
KT: "Coach 'Fense is awesome to play for. I love his coaching style and has great knowledge about the game."
"Does your number mean anything to you?  Â
KT: "No. 5 is my high school number. I was able to keep it when I enrolled here at OSU as a freshman."
If you weren't playing football, what would you be doing?  Â
KT: "I would be involved with the business world."
What was your first impression of Oregon State when being recruited? How has that changed, if any?  Â
KT: "My first impression was that Oregon State was a perfect place to grow as a young man; not having distractions and being able to focus on school and football. This impression has not changed. It's exceeded my expectations."
Who are the teammates you hang out the most with away from the field?  Â
KT: "Mason Moran (roommate), Nick Moore, Riley Sharp and Tristan Gebbia."
What are your thoughts on the new uniforms?  Â
KT: "I Love them. A little bit of old with a little bit of new."
What life lessons has the game of football taught you?  Â
KT: "Dealing with adversity; having mental toughness."
What doors has football opened that might not otherwise been an option?  Â
KT: "Making connections for jobs beyond football."
What does an Oregon State education mean to you?  Â
KT: "That I'm ready to take on the world."
