Beavers Head to Arizona for Pac-12 Championship Finale

CORVALLIS – The Oregon State track and field team resumes competition at the Pac-12 Championships this weekend at Roy P. Drachman Stadium on the campus of the University of Arizona on Saturday and Sunday.
The Beavers currently sit in sixth place with two team points entering the weekend thanks to Saskia McNairy's seventh place finish in the heptathlon last weekend. OSU is one point behind Arizona who sits at No. 5; Colorado leads the field with 13 team points.
The top eight finishers from each event will score team points. The Beavers have six student-athletes in the top 8 in their respective events in the Pac-12 season performance list:

Live results will be provided via LiveResults, a link is available on the OSU Track & Field schedule page on OSUBeavers.com. The final two days of the championships, this Saturday and Sunday, will be broadcast live on Pac-12 Network. TV coverage begins on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. PT, while Sunday's show will begin at 6 p.m. PT.

- Freshman Grace Fetherstonhaugh is seeded seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a top time of 10-minutes, 26.52-seconds. She currently holds the fourth-fastest time in school history.
- Graduate student-athlete Colette Richter enters the 10,000 meters also seeded in seventh at 35-minutes, 19.07-seconds. Last season, Richter notched the No. 2 all-time mark in the event in OSU's history.
- Shot put school record holder Keely McLaughlin will enter the weekend seeded at eighth with her record throw of 50-feet, 2-inches.
- Redshirt junior jumps specialist Ann Wingeleth finds herself seeded in a pair of events. She sits as highly at No. 6 in the long jump at 19-feet, 11.5-inches which came just last weekend at the Portland Twilight. Her season-best mark of 5-feet, 9.25-inches seeds here at No. 7 in the high jump.
- Another school record holder in Lindsay McShane is the final seeded athlete for the Beavers. McShane set the record in the hammer throw at home during the High Performance Meet at 199-feet, 0-inches, and sits at No. 7 entering the weekend.
