Shawn Lu, Mari Nishiura Named Scholar-Athletes Of The Month

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Golfers Shawn Lu and Mari Nishiura were named the Oregon State Scholar-Athletes of the Month for May on Thursday.
Lu, a junior from Honolulu, Hawai'i, was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team last year for his 3.51 cumulative GPA in business.
Nishiura, a junior from Mililani, Hawai'i, was named an All-American Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) in 2018. She carries a 3.73 cumulative GPA and is double majoring in accounting and finance.
