Ellie Slama Set For Augusta National Women’s Amateur

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Ellie Slama is ready to compete against 72 of the best golfers in the world at the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur.
Slama will tee off at 11 a.m. ET (8 a.m. PT) in the first round on Wednesday and be paired with Pimnipa Panthong from Kent State University and Erica Shepherd from Duke University. The same threesome will tee off at 9:12 a.m. ET (6:12 a.m. PT) in the second round on Thursday.
The first two rounds will take place on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club.
The entire field will then play Augusta National for an official practice round on Friday.
The final round will take place at Augusta National on Saturday and feature the 30 competitors who made the cut following the first two rounds.

NBC Sports will produce and broadcast three hours (9 a.m.–noon PT) of live final-round coverage of the event at Augusta National. Golf Channel will deliver on-site highlights, live reports and news coverage throughout the event.
Additionally, Golf Channel's "Live from the Masters" will commence on Friday at Augusta National to provide coverage of the Augusta National Women's Amateur, the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals and the Masters Tournament.
Slama, a sophomore from Salem, Ore., is having another spectacular season for the Oregon State women's golf team. She has a scoring average of 71.69 and six top-10 finishes, which tied Kathleen Takaishi (1997-98) for the most in single-season program history. Slama set the Oregon State single-season scoring average record last year as a freshman with a 72.79.
