Get to Know Niya Mack
This week's Get to Know features Niya Mack. A sophomore from Memphis, Tenn., Niya has been a primary alternate on floor exercise and vault. When she's been in the lineup, the finance major has hit five out of six routines including hitting both of her routines earlier this year against UCLA.

What OSU team do you get most excited to watch?
Men's soccer and football

Where would you most like to live someday?
Ideally Memphis, but I'll be happy anywhere in the South.

How many U.S. states have you visited?
Approximately 20.

What is your secret power/talent?
I was a competitive dancer for four years.

What fad or trend do you hope comes back?
Definitely Heelys! I wasn't allowed to get them as a child because they were "too dangerous." I want the opportunity to fulfill my childhood dreams.

What fictional place would you most like to go?
Bikini Bottom (SpongeBob).

What's your favorite holiday?
Christmas! I love putting up all the decorations and spending time with my family.

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
Planning and organizing for sure!

Are you usually early or late?
Early. In my house early is on time, being on time is late, and late is unacceptable.

Horror or romance?
Both but I can't watch horror movies by myself.

Read or watch the movie?
Read the book because it's always 10 times better than the movie. The movies never give the book the justice it deserves.

Hang gliding or whitewater rafting?
Hang gliding looks life-threatening to me and I prefer not to participate in aquatic activities, so I'm going to have to go with neither.

Sushi or tacos?
Fun fact … I'm a picky eater and sushi and tacos aren't something my taste buds find appealing, so neither.

What is the most annoying question that people ask you?
When people ask if I have a boyfriend.

What is something that a lot of people are obsessed with but you just don't get the point?
The Kardashians.
