CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women's basketball team will host a watch party for the NCAA Tournament Selection Show Monday evening at Gill Coliseum.
The show will air live on ESPN, and will begin at 4 p.m., with doors for the watch party opening at 3 p.m. The event will feature appearances from Oregon State band and cheer, as well as Benny, as fans get the chance to experience the selection show alongside the team.
Normal parking rules will be in effect, so fans are encouraged to purchase an hourly permit for the Reser Stadium Lot or the Parking Structure. For more info on parking click here. Fans can enter Gill Coliseum through the front entrance, across from the Beaver Store.
The NCAA Tournament will open with the first and second rounds played at campus sites from March 22-25. Advancing teams will then move on to the regional rounds, which run March 29-April 1.
The Beavers have made five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including three-straight Sweet 16's and a Final Four run in 2016. Oregon State is 140-30 since the start of the 2014-15 season, and has won 10 NCAA Tournament games over that span.
This season, Oregon State will head into the postseason with a record of 24-7. The Beavers finished third in the Pac-12, and have tallied three wins over ranked opponents. Junior Mikayla Pivec and redshirt-sophomore Destiny Slocum both earned All-Pac-12 honors this season.
