Get to Know Alex McClung
This week we Get to Know another freshman, Alex McClung. Alex, who hails from Salem, Ore., joined the program in the fall and trains in the all-around. Alex is studying human development and family science with an option in child development and intends to become an elementary school teacher.

What OSU team do you get most excited to watch?
I get most excited to watch the OSU volleyball team?
Â
Where would you most like to live someday?
I want to live somewhere warm but also gets snow in the winter time.

How many U.S. states have you visited?
I've been to Hawai'i, Nevada, California, Idaho, Montana, Indiana, Utah, Washington, Florida and Arizona. That makes 10!

What is your secret power/talent?
I can cross my eyes in different directions

What fad or trend do you hope comes back?
Poodle skirts! When I was little I remember watching Grease and I've just wanted one ever since.

What fictional place would you most like to go?
Definitely Narnia.

What's your favorite holiday?
I love Christmas.

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
Dancing!

Horror. But I love myself a good romantic movie.
