Play Halted At Southwestern Invitational
February 25, 2019 | Men's Golf
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – Play was halted due to darkness during the second round of the Southwestern Invitational with the Oregon State men's golf team still on the course.
The Beavers shot a 7-over 295 in the morning round and were 2 over in the afternoon round when play was suspended with only six of the 12 teams done on the 36-hole opening day.
Head coach Jon Reehoorn has three freshmen in his lineup -- Carson Barry, Sean Kato and Nolan Thoroughgood. Veterans Kyosuke Hara and Spencer Tibbits are the other two competing at the par-72, 6,992-yard North Ranch Country Club.
The second round will be resumed at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday with the final round beginning shortly after it's completed. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
