
McReynolds, Herrera Make Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Top 100

McReynolds sits at No. 55, while Herrera is No. 100
CORVALLIS – Oregon State's Brianna McReynolds and Skylar Herrera have both been named to the Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Top 100 list.
McReynolds finished with a rank of No. 55 on Top Drawer Soccer's list. She made a strong impact up front in her debut campaign, earning a spot on the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. The forward appeared in 18 games, making 17 starts while recording five goals and leading the team with five assists. The Glendale, Calif. native also recorded the first OSU hat trick since 2011 scoring three goals and one assist at Houston on Sept. 12. She was named both the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week and to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week on Sept. 17 following a nine point weekend. McReynolds finished the season with 45 shots in 1,332 minutes of play.
Herrera clocked in at No. 100 on the Top Drawer Freshman list. She was a constant in the midfield for the Beavers in 2019. The Long Beach, Calif. native saw action in 18 games, making 16 starts. She recorded 11 shots, including four against Saint Mary's on Sept. 1. Herrera finished her freshman campaign with 1,349 minutes played led by a season-high 102 at Utah on Oct. 3.
As a team, Oregon State finished the season with a record of 11-6-2. The Beavers finished the non-conference campaign undefeated for the first time, starting 8-0, to be the only perfect team in the Pac-12 following non-conference play. OSU put together four consecutive shutouts for the first time since 2007, before recording seven shutouts throughout the season including two against Pac-12 foes.
