THE GAME: Oregon State (1-0) will host the Iowa State Cyclones (1-0) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Gill Coliseum in its second of two home games to open the season.

TELEVISION: The game will be televised on Pac-12 Network with Rich Burk and Casey Jacobsen calling the action.

QUICKLY: Oregon State outscored CSUN 17-12 in bench points in the season opener; the Beavers went 6-0 last season when their bench scored more points than the opposition ... Four Oregon State players scored in double figures against CSUN; the Beavers went 11-0 last season when four or more players scored in double digits ... Tres Tinkle has been named to the preseason watch lists for the John R. Wooden Award, the Naismith Trophy Men's Player of the Year and the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Award ... Tinkle (1,686) needs nine points to pass A.C. Green (1,694) and move into sixth on Oregon State's career scoring list ... Kylor Kelley scored a career-high 18 points and Zach Reichle tied a career best with 13 in the win over CSUN ... Newcomers Jarod Lucas (7), Sean Miller-Moore (4) and Roman Silva (4) combined to score 15 points against CSUN, while going 5-for-7 from the field ... Wayne Tinkle is now 6-0 in season openers at Oregon State; his teams have started 2-0 in four of his first five years.

vs. Iowa State: Oregon State and Iowa State played a home-and-home series in 2007 and 2008 as part of the Pac-10/Big 12 Challenge. The Cyclones won both games and have a 2-0 record all-time in the series.

Iowa State won the first meeting, 71-64, in overtime on Nov. 30, 2007 at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis. Marcel Jones led the Beavers with 17 points and 19 rebounds, and Roeland Schaftenaar also had a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards. Craig Brackins led the Cyclones with 23 points, while Rahshon Clark added 15.

Iowa State won the second meeting, 63-50, on Dec. 6, 2008 at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. Daniel Deane was the only Beaver in double figures with 14 points. Rickey Claitt and Roeland Schaftenaar scored eight points apiece. Lucca Staiger led Cyclones with 13 points and Craig Brackins added 13 point and 10 rebounds.
