
Weinert, McReynolds Pick Up Pac-12 Honors

CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women's soccer team took home two Pac-12 postseason awards the conference office announced Wednesday.
Redshirt Sophomore McKenzie Weinert earned Third Team honors, while freshman Brianna McReynolds tabbed to the All-Freshman Team.
Weinert has been the driving force behind Oregon State's offensive charge this season. She led the Beavers with 21 points, coming from nine goals and two assists. The Milwaukie, Ore. native started every game this season for OSU and moved into ninth place on Oregon State's Season Records for shots with 56.
McReynolds earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors earlier this season after scoring a hat trick and an assist for OSU at Houston. A native of Glendale, Calif., the forward led the Beavers with five assists and tacked on five goals. McReynolds is tied for fourth in Oregon State's Individual Game Records for points (seven) and third for goals (three).
As a team, Oregon State finished with an 11-6-2 overall record, the most wins since 2012. The Beavers also were the only Pac-12 school to finish the non-conference portion of the season with a perfect record going 8-0.
