Tinkle, Thompson, Kelley Earn Preseason All-Pac-12 Recognition

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Tres Tinkle, Ethan Thompson and Kylor Kelley all received preseason All-Pac-12 recognition, the conference office announced Tuesday.
The inaugural preseason All-Conference Teams were selected by the media. Tinkle was selected to the First Team, Thompson was named to the Second Team and Kelley earned honorable mention recognition.
Tinkle, a senior from Missoula, Mont., was selected to the All-Pac-12 First Team each of the past two years. He averaged 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.5 blocked shots in 36.4 minutes per game last season and extended his streak of scoring in double figures to 65 consecutive games.
Thompson, a junior from Los Angeles, Calif., averaged 13.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocked shots in 34.4 minutes per game last season. He received an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award for his excellence in the classroom, the athletic field and a commitment to community service and student leadership.
Kelley, a senior from Gervais, Ore., averaged 7.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.3 steals and 3.4 blocked shots in 23.5 minutes per game. He was selected to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team after leading the conference and finishing second in the nation in blocked shots per game (3.35). He set the Oregon State single-season record with 104 blocked shots.
