What is your favorite thing about playing at Oregon State?
My favorite thing about playing at Oregon State is how challenging this level is which causes me to work harder each and every day. I also love the bond we all have with one another as a team.
How would you describe what it's like to play for Coach Kagan, Coach Ruiz-Williams and Coach Stirrett?
Playing for all three of these coaches is very honorable. All three know all the little details and big picture of the game. They do not settle for "average," which I love because they make the game more competitive and never allow us to have a low level.
Does your number mean anything to you? If so, what does it mean?
The number 30 is symbolic to me because 3 has been my family's number and is also my grandpa's favorite number. I picked 30 because it has a 3 in it and is an even whole number.
If you weren't playing soccer what would you be doing?
If I was not playing soccer, I would still be in college, have a job or internship and constantly want to do surfing competitions.
If you could meet one soccer player who would it be and why?
I would definitely want to meet Tobin Heath. She has always been my idol since I was a young child because of the way she players and knows the game of soccer.
What was the last movie you saw?
Hacksaw Ridge
Who has had the biggest influence on your soccer career?
My mom has had the biggest influence on me for soccer. She kept me going when all of the rough times came and always kept telling me to never give up. She has been there for me every day and never missed a game until I got to college. The only reason she has missed them now is because of the distance, but the reminder of her knowing she would be there in the stands cheering me on makes me play for her.
Do you have any pregame superstitions?
I have many pregame superstitions: a banana, certain songs I must listen to, I pray and wear my cross necklace and I wear a certain sports bra and pair of sliders.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love the family traditions we have for Christmas that brings everyone together. The Christmas music also seems to bring joy to everyone.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?
If I could only have one meal for the rest of my life I would have to choose a Chick-fil-a original sandwich or an In-N-Out cheeseburger.
What skill would you like to master?
I would love to be able to master the bicycle kick!
