What aside from football do you enjoy most about Oregon State?
Noah Togiai: "My favorite thing about my experience playing for Oregon State is the friendships and memories that I have made with friends I'll have for the rest of my life."
What do you like most about Oregon State University, aside from playing football?
NT: "My favorite thing about Oregon State aside from playing football is how small the town is."
What has been your favorite class at Oregon State?Â
NT: "My favorite class I've taken here was a kinesiology class that I took in the summer of 2017."
How would you describe what it's like to play for Coach Smith and Coach Wozniak?Â
NT: "Playing for Coach Smith has been a great experience. Playing for Coach Woz has turned into one of the best things that could have happened to me. He has helped shape me into the man I am today, on, and most importantly, off the field."
Does your number mean anything to you?
NT: "Initially it didn't mean anything to me. But now that I've worn No. 81 for five seasons, it means a lot to me. To me, whenever I see that number, it reminds me of all the things I've gone through and dealt with during my time at OSU and it will for the rest of my life."
What was your first impression of Oregon State when you were being recruited? How has that changed, if any?
NT: "My first impression of Oregon State was, one, how close the team was off the field and, two, how much I liked the small-town environment."
If you could meet any historical figure, dead, or alive, who would it be, and why?
NT: "There is no historical figure I care to meet, but one person I would love to get the chance to meet again at this age, is my grandma who passed away when I was 2."
Do you have any pre-game superstitions?
NT: "No specific pre game superstitions for me, but I like to call my parents sometimes or wait for them to call (because I know they will) just to hear their voices."
What life lessons has football taught you?
NT: "Football has taught me more than I ever thought it could. I wish I had all the time in the world to write down each and every thing that this game and the people around it has taught me. But to keep it short, one of the most important things I learned and applied to my life over the years is: no matter how hard things get in life or how low things may seem in any aspect of your life, you must always find a way to keep moving forward. In other words, never give up."
What doors has football opened for you that you never thought would be possible?
NT: "Football has given me the opportunity to go places and experience things that I would have never had the chance to without it."
What does an Oregon State education mean to you?
NT: "An Oregon State education and college degree means the world to me because I know that my parents have sacrificed so much for me to get the opportunity to get to this point and receive an education. I know all they wanted for all their kids was to have a chance to go to college and be successful in life. To know all their sacrifices for me leading up to this point have paid off so far means everything to me because I know how happy it's made them and when they're happy, it makes me happy."
